Brayman Construction Corp. is seeking an EEO / Human Resources Administrator. The EEO / HR Administrator will be responsible for providing a wide range of EEO and HR support services. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to overseeing the EEO process including affirmative action, reporting, and participating in audits. In addition, providing general support of the Human Resources department including maintenance of employee records and other administrative duties as needed.

The ideal EEO / HR Administrator for this position will possess knowledge of HR best practices, relevant regulations, excellent customer service skills, and excellent communication skills.


EEO / Human Resources Administrator Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program.
  • Gathers, compiles, analyses and interprets data necessary for external (government) and internal EEO compliance and reporting and monitoring. Data may include recruitment, hiring, terminations, promotions, disciplinary actions, salaries, applicant flows and transfers
  • Plans, completes and files required EEO and / or affirmative action (AA) reports and documentation with government agencies
  • Act as liaison between minority placement agencies
  • Partners with Recruiters as it relates to EEO / AA
  • Utilizes appropriate software to measure and monitor EEO / AA plan compliance
  • Reports survey results, statistics and recommendations for corrective action to the Human Resources Manager
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee data and other sensitive information
  • Provide assistance with onboarding for union & non-union employees, including initial paperwork completion, I-9 processing, e-verify submittals, and data entry into the HRIS system
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefit programs, including distribution of information to employees
  • Address employee related requests in an efficient manner while providing a high level of customer service
  • Administer employment policies and identify ways to improve policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned



Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a similar EEO / Human Resources position
  • 4-year degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Expert knowledge of EEO and affirmative action requirements construction experience preferred
  • Ability to think analytically
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Past experience with Vista by ViewPoint software a plus
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or other certifications a plus
  • Understanding of HR best practices and relevant federal, state, and local regulations

Work Environment:

  • Works indoors.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or related field preferred
  • 5-8 years' similar experience in a related field will be considered
