Brayman Construction Corp. is seeking a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for contract management, change orders, preparation of subcontracts, project scheduling, keeping billing quantities and construction units, invoicing, consulting with superintendents on resource allocation and coordination, estimating, and material pricing/project buyout. The Senior Project Manager could oversee several projects or one larger, complex project. Both private and public work experience is a plus. A background in deep foundation construction is preferred but not required.

The Senior Project Manager must be willing to travel or relocate as necessary for projects. Local candidates preferred. Positions available in multiple locations with candidates local to PA, OH, and/or WV preferred.

Senior Project Manager Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Safety Program enforcement and assist in training.
  • Overall financial reporting and performance of project(s)
  • Interaction with Project Owner/Architect/Engineers
  • Oversees project Team for successful completion of project(s)
  • Overall contract management
  • Change orders management
  • Development of subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Project scheduling and updating
  • Quantities/Invoicing
  • All types of heavy civil/foundation work including concrete, drilling, soil nails, caissons, tie backs, shotcrete, slurry walls, etc.

Senior Project Manager Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to lead a Team
  • Ability to mentor/train project managers and project engineers
  • Ability to build strong relationships with coworkers, clients and vendors
  • Flexibility to adapt to new challenges
  • Desire for continuous improvement
  • Desire to take on additional responsibility for the good of the Team
  • Proficient with computers and mobile devices for electronic communication and documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office concentrations in Excel

Work Environment:

  • Works both indoors and outdoors.
  • Environment can be dirty and noisy.
  • Wears appropriate protective clothing and equipment including gloves, ear protection and respirators when necessary.

Physical Demands

  • Stands frequently and walks about the work areas
  • Occasionally stretches up and across when completing daily tasks
  • Squatting, crouching or kneeling may be required occasionally
  • Twisting the body or neck may be required occasionally
  • Bending is occasionally required to facilitate the lifting of items used daily
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements are required when operating machinery
  • The employee must be able to perform the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent, relevant work experience.
